Simple Ways to to Support Your New Light Body

These light body tips are some of the most basic, foundational ways I've discovered that can ease the discomfort, exhaustion and new energy experiences associated with an influx of spiritual light into the body.

Please note: Each of us has a beautiful and unique body, given to us by God for our own unique soul purpose. These tips are general guidelines and may not match your specific needs or situation. As always, listen to your own body and follow those suggestions which resonate with your body's inner wisdom.

Light Body Tip #1 - Listen and flow with change.

Be aware of the effect that different foods, drinks, environments, and people have on your body. Some of these will change over time as your light body develops. Be willing to flow with the changes that happen in your body and in your daily habits. The important skill of listening to your body will guide you always!

Light Body Tip #2 - Drink plenty of water ... lots and lots of it!

The heightened atmosphere of spiritual light on the Earth is accelerating the purification process for individuals and also for the Earth. Old pain, old energies, darkness, and density are releasing from our bodies on a regular basis. Some of us are also processing and transmuting larger planetary energies. For this reason it is extremely important to drink plenty of pure, clean water.

Your body will guide you here. You may find you need way more than the recommended 8 cups a day. I recommend you start with at least half your body weight in ounces, which is what many natural health practitioners recommend. For example, if you weight 150 pounds, drink 75 ounces per day of water. If anyone here can help me translate these into metric equivalents, please let me know!

You may find your needs for water change depending on your environment. I find I get thirsty within 10 minutes of leaving my house to go into town, or even to take a walk. This is related to the different vibrational frequencies in different places. Your body adapts to the change in energies and may need extra water to process the different energetic environment.

When I forget to bring water or to drink enough, I will get a headache from the buildup of energies. Whenever I notice myself feeling energetically stressed, I drink more water, and it really helps! If it is cold outside I drink hot water, or water that is warm or room temperature so I don't get chilled.

Light Body Tip #3 - Schedule regular rest times where you can lie down during the day.

In our frantic, workaholic culture this can be a challenge, but you will find that even a 10 minute rest time can make a huge difference. When you lie down, your light body can more quickly release the energies that are processing through. This can also help relieve the fatigue that many people are experiencing during this time of accelerated transformation.

I know this seem be impractical in your busy life, but it can make a huge difference in your day. Be creative, and you'll find a way. I used to work in an office and I would shut my door and put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign for a half an hour at lunch, to lie down on the floor. If you work in a "cube" or a work place without a lot of privacy, use your coffee break time to go outside (if the weather is nice) and lie under a tree.

In another job I held, I shared an office with three other counselors, so I would go to the small company gym which was quiet in the afternoons, to lie down. In a pinch, you can go to your car and recline the seat. In a few minutes you'll feel much better!

Light Body Tip #4 - Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, live whole foods, raw foods and sprouts.

Once again, follow your body's inner wisdom here. The types of foods that are best for your unique body will vary depending on where you live, what season it is, what kind of vibrational atmosphere you live in, and what is happening in our own transformational process.

For example, most of my adult life I was vegetarian or vegan, but at other times I needed to eat animal products in order to be more grounded. There was one period of time I could hardly eat any raw food, which caused me to feel nauseous!

There are several creative ways to eat raw and live foods. A juicer, a blender and some jars for sprouting are some of the best investments you can make health and your light body. Starting your day with fresh vegetable or fruit juice can be very invigorating. You can start by juicing carrots, celery, apples, and parsley, and then put it in the blender with some spinach or kale to make a "green smoothie". If it tastes too much like a lawn (!) then you can add some stevia for sweetening, or some fresh or frozen blueberries, strawberries, mango or other fruits.

Make a commitment to let go of any unprocessed, refined foods that are in your cabinet or refrigerator. Whole, live food adds light, and life force energy to your body. Processed foods are heavier and do not contain so many of the nutrients we need, and so they add stress and calories to the diet, without the benefit of mother nature's dazzling array of healing enzymes, vitamins and minerals.

You may find that as your light body develops, you crave lighter foods. For example, beans and rice was always a staple food in our diet, but recently I found these too heavy. I also learned that these foods are more acidic. Now we eat mung beans and amaranth, a much lighter combination, which is also more alkaline and still nourishing and satisfying.

Some people find that eating a lot of raw foods is liberating, opens their consciousness and increases their health. Other people find eating a lot of raw foods to be irritating to the digestive system, or makes them feel too "spaced out". Follow your guidance on this, and experiment.

Light Body Tip #5 - Eat chlorophyll rich foods, which bring light into the body.

Leafy green veggies like kale, spinach, and collard green, and more concentrated sources like spirulina, chlorella, barley grass, oat grass, wheat grass, blue green algae are just a few examples. Each of these has its own unique energy signature, and you may find that you resonate with one more than the other.

Green foods can be powerful, which can also accelerate your purification and transformation process. If you find yourself getting "detox" symptoms when you take them, cut back to very small amounts and increase gradually. I love putting spirulina or chlorella in my morning juice, it is amazing!

Some days, I can feel that my body does not want the green foods, they feel like 'too much'. Be sensitive to your own body's signals and follow your intuition. I've had several periods of time in my process where I could not eat any green foods, as they would make me feel nauseous!

Light Body Tip #6 - Get some physical activity.

If you are able, find a way to make movement a regular part of your life. Whether it be stretching, yoga, walking, running, sports activities, dancing, using weights or just doing a little meditative authentic movement, this will help move energies through and also invigorate your body and your consciousness. There will be some days when you just "can't move" and so you need to be gentle with yourself.

Light Body Tip #7 - Make your home a refuge of light.

It is extremely important right now, at a time when all of us are living with heightened levels of stress, that you have a peaceful, nourishing place to rest and recuperate. If you have young children, it is extra important that you have help and support to be able to create quiet time for yourself.

Even if you live in crowded conditions, find a way to create a little corner of peace and tranquility. Create an altar for your home that carries a sacred vibration and provides you with a place to retreat to, to be nourished by light. Simplify your living space, and let go of any clutter or objects that are unnecessary or that do not reflect your highest intention. Open the windows regularly to bring in fresh air, and to release old energies. You may find air purifiers helpful in more crowded places, or in the room where you sleep.

Be aware of how you feel when you enter each room in your home. If the energy feels heavy, clogged, or difficult, look around and see how you might be able to lighten it. If airing out the room, cleaning up the clutter and removing unnecessary objects does not improve the energy, take a look at the rugs, drapes, upholstery, shower curtains and towels in your home.

Touch them and see how they feel to you. Fabrics can hold a great deal of energy and can become saturated with energies that are released through the purification process. Rugs especially can hold a great deal of energy, as the energies released through the purification process leave the body through the feet. sometimes you can deep clean the fabrics or the rugs, but in some cases you may find the energies are too saturated and you'll need to replace them, or get a non-fabric alternative.
